Our guide to reusable polypropylene bags
27th February, 2017
As well as our range of cotton and canvas bags, we also offer woven and non woven PP bags which are a great environmental choice and perfect for printing. You have likely come across these bags before but might not know exactly how the bags are made. Check out our guide below to find out everything you need to know about polypropylene bags.
Non woven bags
NWPP (non-woven polypropylene) is one of the most ecologically sound materials that you can choose for your bags, as it is 100% recyclable and rated close to the top of Greenpeace’s pyramid of plastics. It is a type of thermoplastic polymer made from a by-product of oil manufacturing, which can be made into strong yet lightweight bags that are also water resistant. We stock NWPP fabric bags in a range of colours, and we can also create completely bespoke bags dyed to order.
Woven PP bags are made from threads of polypropylene that have been been woven in two directions, to create an incredibly strong and waterproof material. These bags are popular with supermarkets as the hardwearing durability of woven pp makes them truly ‘bags for life’. Perfect for printing, our woven PP bags are available in a range of colours to suit your branding, and can be finished with a matt or gloss lamination.
How to order
We can create custom bags made from woven or non woven PP in a range of shapes and sizes to meet your specification. We can use pantone colours to get an exact colour match, and we can also use edge to edge printing to show off your branding with a full cover design over the whole of the bag surface. With express bag service available if you need the bags ASAP, it couldn’t be easier to get the perfect bags printed for your business- just get in touch with us to find out more.
