For the past 5 years we have supplied the Guardian with printed bags for Glastonbury Festival. These brightly coloured bags are given out when attendees purchase the special festival editions of the Guardian newspaper, which are only available to buy from the Glastonbury site. These bags have become a mainstay of the festival, with thousands of revellers wearing them around Worthy Farm over the weekend.
Bespoke Festival Bags
We designed these bespoke bags with drawstrings and straps so that they can be worn as a rucksack. The 10oz natural canvas used to make the bags is a sturdy and durable eco fabric, making the bags strong enough to carry all the necessary festival essentials. The colourful designs are screen printed onto the bags with water based inks which are a great eco-friendly option.
We provided a total of 5 designs so that each daily edition of the Guardian festival newspaper could feature its own bag with a different colour and pattern. The eye-catching colours used make them easy to spot, with lots of festival goers wearing them in the crowds.
